In Candidacy Process for Accreditation by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN) and registered by the New York State Department of Education.
Upon completion of the nursing program, graduates of the Arnot Ogden Medical Center School of Nursing must take a state licensing examination in order to practice as a registered nurse. The state licensing examination for registered nurses is the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Any individual who has been convicted of a felony may take the licensing examination but may not receive licensure until the New York State Board of Nursing has reviewed the case.
